Wudang Mountain in Hubei Province, China, is renowned as the cradle of Tai Chi and other internal martial and healing arts. Collectively known as Nei Jia Gong or Nei Jia Quan (the “internal family” of practices), these arts focus on strengthening the flow of qi, the body’s vital energy. Tension, stiffness and poor focus hinder the flow of qi through the meridians and reduce its accumulation in key energy centres vital for strengthening the whole system.
In this course, you will learn a set of Wudang Qigong from the Xuan Wu Pai Taoist lineage. Qigong helps calm the mind, ease tension and energise the body. The movements are straightforward and enjoyable, designed to build your internal energy and leave you feeling relaxed and recharged.
Wudang Qigong stretching practices focus on improving joint mobility while promoting a flexible and toned physique. These movements are carefully designed to enhance blood and qi circulation while improving strength and stability. Techniques like Swallow Skimming Across the Water develop agility and flexibility. Practise at a pace that suits your body, allowing you to advance both your health and your physical abilities.
In just four lessons, you’ll unlock the transformative benefits of Wudang Qigong Stretching, from improved flexibility to a calmer, more energised state of mind. These accessible practices help you feel more at ease in your body while fostering energy and strength. You'll leave each session feeling refreshed, revitalised and more in tune with your body.
